Poland
Poland
Symbol of the papacy and spiritual leadership in the Catholic Church, representing religious authority and influence; ultimate travel guide to Poland.
Location
Pierogies, pierogies, pierogies! Ok, there is WAYYYYYY more to Poland than pierogies such as museums, vodka, Catholicism, and history. But I do love pierogies! This country has always been on my list of must visit, due to my familial roots, but Poland also does a great job of documenting and displaying its history with numerous tours and hundreds of museums. There’s so much to do, see, and learn! But for real… don’t forget about the pierogies!
Use this guide to help plan and maximize your trip to Poland!

However, it is always important to exercise caution, make informed decisions, and stay aware of your surroundings for a secure travel experience.
My Favorite Memories
Making pierogies at an official workshop in Warsaw. I’ve been making pierogies from scratch using my grandmother’s recipe, but it was interesting to learn directly from a local and compare and contrast.
The silence and goosebumps while visiting the several concentration camps around Poland. It is important to learn and preserve history so we don’t make the same mistakes.
Visiting the homemade vodka shop created and managed by this old lady for over 30 years. She kept giving me samples of free vodka, which was some of the best flavored vodka I’ve ever tasted!
