Moreover, buses also connect Bergen with neighboring areas, making intercity travel in Norway seamless. If you plan to visit multiple museums, consider purchasing the Bergen Card, which includes access to select museums and public transportation for a single price.
Taxi
In Bergen, Uber is not widely available. Instead, both locals and visitors rely on the 07000 Taxi Company, which can be found throughout the city to provide convenient transportation services.
Bike/Electric Scooters
Bergen offers a bike-friendly environment with dedicated lanes on roads and sidewalks for cyclists. Additionally, electric scooters are available throughout the city, easily activated through scanning a QR code and paying a set price per minute.
Walking
Exploring Bergen on foot is the ideal way to get around, as the city is pedestrian-friendly and many tourist sites are located in close proximity to each other. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe walking throughout the day and enjoyed the convenience of strolling between attractions.

Embark on a cable car ascent to Mount Fløyen, Bergen's highest mountain at 320 meters. In just six minutes, you'll be treated to breathtaking aerial views of the entire city. At the mountaintop, you can explore a variety of hiking trails, children's climbing areas, and the enchanting Troll Forest.
Bergenhus Fortress
