Half Day Cruise from Providenciales with Snorkeling and Beach Picnic
Turks and Caicos is home to beautiful coral reefs, home to a plethora of aquatic life. While on this excursion, I had the experience to swim with a stingray and schools of fish, while spotting sea cucumbers and conch crawling along the seafloor.
After snorkeling in 3 different spots, we visited Iguana island for more swimming, iguana spotting, and delicious food.
Champagne Sunset Cruise
Enjoy an amazing sunset and views of the island from a catamaran while sipping champagne and enjoying an open bar. Don’t forget to take pictures!
Sample Bambarra Rum
Visit The Spirit of the Turks and Caicos and sample the locally-made rum. Be sure to bring some home to recreate the island’s rum punch!
Support Local Artists and Businesses
Locals set up markets with a variety of trinkets and souvenirs along beaches. You can also find locally-made gifts downtown, in Regent Village at Grace Bay.
Paddleboarding in Mangroves and Wetlands
Take a paddleboard or kayak tour of the mangroves and wetlands on a Kayak Eco Tour with Big Blue Collective. Spot a variety of sharks, turtles, and more!
Conch Shack
Enjoy a variety of local dishes… from the sand! This restaurant is the perfect hangout spot and is famous for their fish fry Fridays.
Turks and Caico’s National Museum
Learn about the history of the island as well as the aquatic life and fauna native to the island.
Swim and Relax on a Beach
Need I say more? Many beaches offer umbrellas and beach chairs for rental for a one-time price, so make sure to bring cash.
Scuba Dive
Can’t miss unforgettable views of coral reefs and their inhabitants. Experience swimming with stingrays and a sharks along the Great Turk Wall.
Conch Farm
Unfortunately, this famous attraction was not open when I visited, due to still being damaged from a hurricane. If it’s been rebuilt and is open when you’re on the island, make sure to visit and let me know what you think!
Governor's Beach
Stop and take pictures of a large shipwreck on the beach while collecting sea glass. This beach can get busy since it’s near a cruise terminal, unless you get there early.
Potcake Place
To help lower the amount of stray dogs on the island, the Potcake Rescue is an active adoptive organization helping them find homes with visitors to the island. Learn about this famous dog adoption on the island and how you can help support this organization and help find these dogs a new home.
Turks Head Brewery
Don't miss the chance to tour Turks Head Brewery, tasting a variety of locally-made beers and IPAs for a true taste of Turks and Caicos.
