WELCOME TO MOROCCO’S BLUE PEARL 💙

Tucked in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is more than just a photogenic blue city—it’s a serene escape filled with Andalusian influence, history, and charm. Founded in 1471 as a fortress town to fight off Portuguese invasions, it later became a haven for Jewish and Muslim refugees from Spain, which shaped its iconic architecture.

✨ Top things to do:
– Wander the dreamy medina & snap those Insta-worthy blue alley shots
– Hike to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views at golden hour
– Shop handmade wool, leather, and goat cheese in the souks
– Sip mint tea on a rooftop cafe and just be

🚌 How to get there:
From Fes or Tangier, it’s a scenic 3.5–4.5 hour bus ride (CTM is your go-to). Or hire a private driver for a more relaxed journey through the Rif.

Would you visit Chefchaouen?

RA, US edition, first up: Indianapolis 🏎️🏁

How have I traveled to more countries that States as an American? Because the US is a large country and moving between States costs more than traveling between countries in Europe.

Don’t believe me? Spirit is the closest budget airline we have and it’s often at least twice the price of other budget airlines such as Ryanair and WizzAir, including bus and train tickets.

Now that I’m traveling for work, I’m trying to find a way to experience the places I visit.

Tips for finding balance between conferences and visiting a city are welcome and appreciated.

In 1 year, I have lived in 5 different locations.

It wasn’t until I was reflecting on my future steps and scrolling through my camera roll, when I finally made this realization.

For the first time, I have established somewhat of a home base and it’s a weird feeling for me. I’m so used to moving around, never fully unpacked, and immediately jumping into a go-go-go routine.

So now I’m learning what it means to have a home base and establish within a community long term.

This has given time to reflect on how the new me fits into this home base and it’s difficult and that’s okay.

Traveling and living in different locations has given me new perspectives, challenges, and lessons. Now, it’s time to start putting the puzzle together for what’s next.

Here’s quick snippets from the places I’ve lived the past year.
