Location

As one of the least traveled countries in Europe, Moldova works hard to preserve their traditions and display what it means to be a true Moldovan. Locals will often be surprised to meet foreigners visiting their country, and will be excited to show you around and share about their culture. After living in Moldova for a year as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Ungheni, Moldova truly holds a special place in my heart and is a place I encourage people to visit. I hope my travel guide to Moldova and city articles about Moldova inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and to travel to Moldova to experience the warm hospitality of the locals, and cultural experiences yourself.
