Since Cyprus is an island in the middle of the Mediterranean, the best way to travel to Cyprus is by plane. If you’re traveling from Turkey, there is a ferry from southern Turkey to northern Cyprus that runs periodically, but it does have a long travel time.
When I visited Larnaca, I was traveling from Ungheni, Moldova. I took a 2 hour bus to Iași, Romania, and then flew directly to Larnaca. It took me a total of 7 hours to travel between the two methods of transportation.
