Marché aux Fleurs Cours Saleya
Part of the Ville Ville, this famous flower market is open every day except for Mondays. Make sure to arrive early because the market gets crowded real quick, and the market is gone by 3 PM.
Cathedrale Orthodoxe Russe St. Nicolas
A part of Russia, dropped right in the middle of Nice. This beautiful church was commissioned by Tsar Nicolas II to be built in the 20th century. Visitors can tour the church 9 AM to 6PM every day, except Sundays which are for regular service, for $12. However, if you just wish to take a peek inside, admission is free.
Jardin du Monastère de Cimiez
Take a step back into 1546 and walk through a garden previously used by monks for growing vegetables. The garden is free to the public and is open year-round and still resembles the original garden.
Castle Hill
Also known as Colline du Chateau, visit the remaining structure of the Chateau de Nice. Climb the extra steps up the hill for a spectacular view of Nice.
Go Shopping
There are plenty of stores and boutique shops throughout Nice, but if you’re really looking to shop then I suggest Avenue Jean Médecin. This street has international chains, department stores, and French cafes and boutiques.
Relax on the Beach
In Nice, there are both private and public beaches. The private beaches tend to be the white sand with the ability to rent chairs, umbrellas, etc. which can get expensive. The public beaches are free, but are on the pebbles which can be uncomfortable unless you bring your own chairs.
