    During my visit, I traveled with a tour group called Europamundo, which arranged accommodations near Avicii Arena, offering affordable options. While not centrally located, these hotels helped me save money for museum visits.

    Sweden, being part of Scandinavia, is known for its higher costs. However, you'll find a range of accommodation options, from budget-friendly choices like Airbnbs and hostels to luxurious hotels and spa resorts. Stockholm's public transportation is convenient, making it easy to access attractions even if you stay outside the city center.

    Stockholm is VERY pedestrian friendly, with people often walking around the city late into the evenings. I felt very safe walking around throughout the day as a solo female traveler and this was the primary way that I traveled around the city.
